by a qualified personnel using the most efficient and safe equipments there are in the market. It’s a treatment in which you get a satisfactory result mainly in the same section and in approximately 45minutes. This treatment does not generate any side effects nor any type of pain, except for some type of sensibility that wears off a couple of hours later.

Resin restorations:

Compound resins or composite resins are the materials that substitute the lost dental structure, let it be by cavities, fractures, dental malformations and other reasons, just as long as they are not of great volume. They come in an assorted array of colors that can be placed directly over the tooth, in small uniform layers, that harden under different types of light. The mechanism by which they adhere to the remaining dental structure (enamel and dentine) is through a micro mechanical adhesion by preparing the surface of the tooth.

Depending of the quality of the resins and proper use by part of the professional, you can obtain very good properties in reference to retention, resistance and aesthetics. Previously it was recommended only in the restoration of previous teeth, despite of the high resistance obtained by the latest generations of resins, they are a good substitute of the amalgams restorations in the posterior sector(in the molars), getting this way a better aesthetic.

Dental implants:

Implants are titanium rods that substitute the root of a tooth when it is absent. Thanks to implants we are able to substitute one or more teeth in a way that is not necessary to use removable prosthetics and to not also wear out healthy teeth to receive what is also known as fixed bridges. The technical and metallurgic advances have allowed metals like titanium that has a characteristic of being highly biocompatible, capable of harmonizing with the organism obtaining a good oseo-integration with the bone.

As we all know, the absence of teeth affects our aesthetics, to perform different functions like: mastication, phonation, swallowing; it influences in bad dental positioning and the re-absorption of the bone, generating a fast aging of the patient, consequently affecting their trust and self esteem.

Dental veneers:

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or plastic material made to fit over the front surface of the tooth.

They are used to fix dental deformations, inadequate restorations, undesired color and some fractures, obtaining this way a more pleasant smile. This is an alternative very used among the artistic class since it requires minimal invasion in the dental tissue extraordinary changes are accomplished.

Fixed prosthetic:

It’s the treatment by which several teeth are replaced in the dental cavity by artificial ones. These missing teeth are held by healthy teeth by previously wearing them out, in the same way these prosthetics can be sustained by implants.

Metal-free ceramic crowns:

Traditionally known as porcelain crowns or ceramic crowns, previous to the wear of the affected tooth, it’s covered by a metal ceramic crown, by which you get the required resistance to perform the mastication function.

The last few years, due to the aesthetics demands of the patients, metals have been disappearing above all when it comes to restoring previous teeth. With the new advances in the technology, the use of ceramics of high quality as far as the resistance goes, today we can trust in a fully ceramic restoration without the need of it being reinforced internally with a metallic structure that prevents the passage of light therefore reflecting a dark shade in the edge of the teeth that limits with the gums . Thanks to this increased resistance, porcelain crowns are considered the most recommended restoration in the replacement of previous teeth because of its translucent, the permanency of color and capacity of merging with the dental structure, obtaining a superb an aesthetic.

Removable prosthetic:

It is the treatment by means of which they replace one, several or all the teeth of the buccal cavity with other artificial ones, in this case removable ones, that are metal or acrylic structures, held in the mouth by hooks. These are removed by the patient.

There are also total prosthetics by which all the teeth in the oral cavity are replaced, giving them back the shape, function and aesthetic.
